Bonus Taxed by two States - how do I file?

Hi! I was working/living in CA in 2022 (all year).

I moved to OR Jan 1, 2023. I received my annual bonus in the beginning of 2023 - it was taxed by both CA and OR.

Is this considered double taxed income? I am looking to file my taxes and want to report this as double taxed if thats what it is.

I made the money in CA but was paid out in OR so it was taxed once from the state it was made in and then again by the state I lived in when paid out.

California has a credit for taxes paid to another state. You should do your Oregon tax return first and then your California return. Complete the section in your California return for taxes paid to another state and you will not be double taxed on the same income.
