Box 14 NY State Wages Category

I live in NJ and work in NYC.  My W2 - box 14 has NY State Wages (which matches what’s in Box 1).  What’s the Category dropdown should I select?

    In TurboTax, enter the description from your W-2's box 14 on the first field in the row.   Enter the dollar amount and select the correct tax category that goes with that description.

     

    If none of the categories apply, scroll to the bottom of the list and choose Other (not classified).  If we need more information, we'll ask you.

     

    Box 14, see help, this box is for everything that doesn't have its own box.
