CA 592-B Form and Federal Return

I received prize money from a show in California. I have a 592-B and the taxes were withheld. How do I enter the sales tax withheld on my federal return and where can I get the 540 NR form to file with Califonia?

You won't enter Form 592-B information on your federal return, but in the state portion of TurboTax.

To enter your Form 592-B information in TurboTax Online:

Open TurboTax Online
Select Tax Home in the left pane
On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown on the right side of the State Taxes box, then select Start, Continue, or Pick up where you left off
Proceed through the state screens until you come to Take a look at California credits and taxes
Scroll down to Payments and withholding. Select Start or Revisit to the right of Real Estate and Other Withholding
Select Yes on the Any Real Estate or Other Withholding Forms? screen
Proceed through the following screens, making entries as appropriate

i never entered any such values for 592-B to have some numbers. it should still allow it to be. this software created a mess . i had to delete everything and re enter
