CA State efiling

Despite the fact that I had to enter 'Total Assets at End of Year' onto CA Form 568 (using 'Forms'), by the time the return is ready to efile, the error showed up again and the entry became blank.  I can't seem to efile because this error kept showing up.  How do you fix that?

    It looks like this problem occurs on CA Form 568 for LLCs only.  We had another LLC to file, same problem.

     

    The message is:

    "We Need to Make One More Check

    Everything looks good on your return. We've double-checked it for accuracy and to make sure you got all the tax breaks you deserve.

    But before you e-file, we need a little more information that we didn't need earlier"

     

    When I went to FORMS to see which form was having this problem. I saw that it was Form 568 and the information needed was Year End Asset.  After filling that out and continuing to e-file, the same message appeared again.  Went to Form 568 and the Year End Asset box became blank again and needed to be filled out.  Can't get out of this loop.

     

    Does anyone else have this problem?

    We have tested California Form 568 but are unable to reproduce the experience you have seen. It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2021" file to test further.

     

    If you would be willing to send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information, here are the instructions: 

     

    Go to Online in the TurboTax Business header. 

    1. Choose Send Tax File to Agent.
    2. You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is.  Click Send on this screen and wait for the Token number to appear. 
    3. Reply to this thread with your Token number.  

    This diagnostic copy (numbers only; no personal info) of your tax file will allow us to see the same experience you are having. If we are able to determine the cause, we'll reply here and provide you with a resolution.

    Thank you.  I'm surprised you couldn't reproduce the error. There was a software update late Friday March 4, and after downloading the update, the efiles for our LLCs went through without any problem.
