CA state return for RSU vested shares?

I moved out of CA in 2022. Some of my RSUs that vested in 2023 were granted to me by my employer while I still lived in CA. My employer has already deducted CA state income taxes for these RSUs. Do I still need to file a CA state income tax return (Form 540) for 2023 for this income, even though I didn't live in CA in 2023? Or does it suffice that the taxes were already deducted?

You must file a non-resident CA tax return if either your total gross income or your California adjusted gross income exceed CA's filing threshold for your filing status. See Filing requirements in this CA web reference:
