California 1099-G disagrees

I filed with Turbo Tax last year.  The California Franchise Tax Board reduced my return from that that I had claimed.

I recently received a 1099-G from the FTB that reflected the original claimed amount (that I filed).

How do I finish my return with that discrepancy ($2600 less than the 1099).

  Thank you.

If you itemized your deductions last year, you must include as income the state taxes that you deducted.  Look for your Schedule A (2018) and enter the amount from 5a.  If you did not itemize, you do not have to include the 1099G for state income tax as income.
