California non-resident full time grad student has California income, 540NR line 6 asks the number of days spent in California for any purpose - should that include all school days?

    The CA 540 NR instructions for line 6 say

     

    "Line 6 – The number of days I spent in California

    The total number of days in California should include all days in California for any purpose including residency, business, and vacation."
