Question

Can I disregard form 3554 keeps showing up, saying I need to fix it. I don't need to include 3554, it doesn't apply to me.

Should I continue without  fixing? Form 3554 keeps saying it needs me to review, but I don't need form 3554

Taxpayers use form FTB 3554, New Employment Credit, to figure a credit for a qualified taxpayer that hires a qualified full-time employee and pays or incurs qualified wages attributable to work performed by that employee in a Designated Geographic Area(DGA) and receives a Tentative Credit Reservation(TCR)for that employee.

If that doesn't not apply to you, delete the form.

On the menu bar on the left :

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. Select Tools
  3. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  4. This will give you all of the forms in your return
  5. Scroll down to the form 3554
  6. Select the Form
  7. Click on Delete

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.
