Can I use turbo tax to file vermont tax return? live in florida but I need to file vermont state tax return due to K-1 income

IF you used TurboTax to prepare and file your federal return you can use TT to prepare your Vermont return, but if you did not prepare a federal return here, then no. The information flows from the federal return to the state return, so you cannot prepare a "stand alone" state return using TurboTax.

If you used TT for your federal return then go back in to your account and click Add a State to get the VT software.

You could also get the VT forms and prepare and mail them. You will need a copy of your federal return in front of you to refer to.
