can I verify that I was given credit for Utah State taxes that were withheld from my pay?

As long as the state tax withheld from your W-2 was entered as part of your W-2, then you do not need to enter it again.  It will automatically be applied to your state tax.

You can use the following steps in TurboTax Online to preview your state tax return and see the withholdings:

1. From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
2. Select Tax Tools 
   
3. On the drop-down select Tools 
4. On the pop-up menu titled “Tools Center”, select View Tax Summary 
5. On the left sidebar, select  UT Tax Summary 
6. Click Back to exit
