Can't file electronic for Illinois State 2024 Income Tax no issues on Federal income tax

Do you know why the State of Illinois is not allowing me to file electronic for 2024 income tax?

In addition, no issues completing my State Income Tax, just bother me to file paper to receive a check by mail.

Does anybody know why?

No issues on Federal Income tax.

We cannot see any of your information so no one in the user forum can tell you why you are having issues with e-filing an IL return. I do know that IL is really picky about the ID you enter---if you did not enter a current IL drivers license or state ID then IL will not let you e-file an IL return.

And ....even if you file your IL by mail, you can still get a direct deposit of your IL refund. You do not have to get a paper check for the refund.
