Question

Can you explained a tax bil I received from the State of Virginia that I do not understand.? I thought I paid this tax.

First thing to do is look at your bank/credit card statements, depending on how you paid.

 

If you wish, you can phone the state Dept. of Revenue and ask them to explain it, especially if they changed something in your state return.   They "should" send you a letter if they changed something.
