Cannot download CA 2022 forms to TurboTax Home & Business (mac) and cannot access tech support.

I cannot download my California forms to TurboTax Home & Business (desktop on mac)

1) this is my free state download. Error message is that we encountered a problem and to call the 800#

2) customer service had no tools to troubleshoot, had no way of sending me a manual download of the state forms, and — most frustratingly — had no way to elevate my pretty clear problem to actual tech support.

Has anyone else encountered this?

In case anyone else stumbles on this same issue in the 11th hour of filing taxes!!
1) Not every customer service person has the same level of expertise, it helps to call back.
2) even if you think you've downloaded every last software update, always check again...even in the middle of october, when you would never guess that an update would show up between one day to the next. Once I updated my software ONE more time, I was able to easily download the state.
