Hi. I am using Desktop Home and Business.  I have to file in two states. Maryland and Arkansas where I am a resident. I e-filed my Federal return and it has been accepted. I e-filed my Maryland State return and it has been accepted. When I tried to file my Arkansas return I receive the following:  Issue This return cannot be e-filed by itself. You'll need to e-file this return at the same time as your federal return. I've updated the e-file status, exited and re-entered the program. I've ran the review several times and everything passes with no errors. Thanks

Apparently this is an AR requirement.  The state return can be filed electronically ONLY if efiled along with the federal return.  I'm attaching a page I found when researching your question on the AR DOR website.

Since you didn't efile your AR return at the same time that you efiled your federal return, you'll need to print and mail your AR return.  So sorry!
