TT does not allow VA e-filing saying that VK-1 is not supported by VA dept of taxation.

I called VA dept of tax and they told me I can e-file with VK-1. And it is the software issue. So, please help me why I cannot e-file.

Hi, I have called the helpline several times for this issue and no one can solve the problem. Each of them tried for over a hour without success. Would please give me a more specific number or persons to call?
thank you

I'm having the same problem. It says the reason is that there is a pass through entity credit and Schedule VK-1 is not supported for e-filing (even though VK-1 is in turbotax.

Form VK-1 should be available to electronically filed.  You should try closing your return and follow the steps below to see that you need to do depending on the version of TurboTax you are using:

  • If using TurboTax Online: Clear your cache and cookies. See this FAQ, for your particular browser.
    • You can also try using a different browser
  • If using TurboTax Desktop: Please see this FAQ.
    • Make sure you have ran all the updates

If you continue having issues, contact us again.

I'm using turbotax premier. The VK-1 form in Turbotax does not have all of the fields on the VK-1 for PTE credit.
