cannot find 2019 Iowa Estimated Taxes Paid entry

I have entered both Federal and State quantites for Estimated Taxes Paid for 2019 in Federal form. Working through State of Iowa and cannot find any place to enter this information.

Was it carried over from Federal enteries since there were windows for all 4 entry dates? If so, why can't I find them in the State forms to verify correct values?

Yes, it carries over from the federal entries. This is entered in the federal part of the program under Deductions & Credits, Estimates and Other Taxes Paid. I know it may seem odd that it is in the federal section when it is credited to your state - but if you're itemizing your deductions it is also deductible on your federal return, so we want to be sure you get your deduction!

To edit your entries, return to the federal program.
