Charges for State Tax Filing

I completed my federal return for free through Uber's promotional self employment program but at no point in the filing process did Turbotax state that I would be charged for state filing until everything was complete and I was ready to file.  This site is a scam and needs to be regulated to prevent these shady business practices.  Because I had two state returns I was going to be charged $100 total.  I checked other tax preparation sites and have found that I'm eligible to file for free with them.  After using this site for 9 years I'm done and will be using a different service.
