Colorado FAMLI benefits received via private company

My wife and I took leave last year after our son was born. I received my leave benefits directly through the state of Colorado from the FAMLI program. My wife received her leave benefits from a life insurance company because her company opted to have their maternity leave managed through a private company rather than through the state. TurboTax indicates we can claim a subtraction on Colorado income tax for FAMLI benefits received, though it does not clarify whether this subtraction is eligible only if you received benefits directly through the state FAMLI program or if benefits received from a private company for leave also qualify. My wife's program only exists with her company because of the FAMLI law, but it is unclear based on the TurboTax wording, and when I contacted the state of Colorado's tax office they directed me to a PDF on their website that did not answer my question.

You're eligible for the subtraction.

Colorado's Tax Guidance from the CO Department of Revenue makes it clear that it's not only benefits received from the state that qualify.
