Question

Colorado K-1 non-resident

I received federal and Colorado non-resident K-1 forms. I received a payout as a shareholder. Both show a guaranteed payment in the same amount with no other amounts listed on either form. Where do I enter the guaranteed payment amount on Colorado non resident tax return? Or do I not enter it on there if it is already reported on my federal return?

If the same amount is shown on both Schedules K-1, you don't need to re-enter this on your Colorado state return. The information on your federal return is transferred to the state module in TurboTax.

Colorado taxes only Colorado-sourced income for non-residents. As you work through the Colorado state interview, be sure you adjust any income from your federal return that wasn't earned in Colorado.
