Colorado QCD in 1040 calculation incorrect.

There might be an error in Turbo Tax calculations: Colorado state return DR-0104AD, Line 12 (Qualified Charitable Contributions). It's supposed to be pulling from 1040 but looks like it is doubling the amount. Reporting on behalf of customer.

    So, does line 8 on CO 104 contain the gross amount of the 1099-R for the QCD? Or does it contain only the distribution net of the QCD?

     

    If the QCD amount is not on line 8, it doesn't need to be on line 9 (from 104AD).
