Colorado return rejected because of 529 owner account questions

Hello,

I've contributed to 529 account that I own. I've filed the form without filling "Not the owner" section of DR 0104AD form.

TurboTax is rejecting it with message:

23-104-113 - When the CollegeInvest Contribution subtraction in Form DR 0104AD is claimed, the Total Contribution, Owner???s SSN or ITIN, and the Owner???s Name of the CollegeInvest account must be provided.

I've removed the contribution and redone it a couple of times - no help.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Slava

Probably nothing, but, given what you've already tried, your best bet might be to delete your state return and start it over again.

See the TurboTax Help article How do I delete my state return in TurboTax Online? for guidance with the Online version.

If you're using the Desktop version, see the TurboTax Help article How do I clear my state return in the TurboTax for Windows software?.

Turbotax won't allow to delete Colorado:

You cannot remove the data from your Colorado return because it is selected for efiling.

Again, tried to change to mail, save - no help.

    Thanks,

My return was rejected with the same comments. I went into turbotax and verified that I entered the name of the owner, SSN, name of college plan and amount. Then I looked up my Co returrn pdf copy and surprise: Turbotax failed to fill in the information at the bottom of form DR 0104AD.  Only the amount contributed is there. This is a bug. Could you please fix it?

In the meantime I might need to print the form, fill in the info by hand, and mail it in. Sooner the better.
