Colorado State Taxes - Telehealth Clients in Texas

Hi there,

We moved to Colorado in 2024 from Texas.  My wife is a private practice counselor and does primarily telehealth with all of her Texas clients.

My question is, does she have to report the income from her Texas clients on our Colorado State Income Taxes?

I could see "yes" because we're Colorado residents,  but I could also see "no" because her clients "purchasing" her service live in Texas.  Any help would be appreciated as I can't find a definitive answer anywhere.

Thanks!

You must pay taxes where you live since you use their streets, police, etc. Your resident state is entitled to tax all income earned while living there.
