Concerning the carryover worksheet, I'm not sure why this is popping up. It says "Total withheld/pmts must be entered. I don't know what to do.

How do I know what the "total withheld/pmts" are on the carryover worksheet?

The carryover worksheet has amounts paid with extension, you may have said to apply some part or all of last year's refund, paid or received state and local taxes. Take a look to see what is there versus what you are missing.

The program knows what is expected but does not know what actually happened. Therefore, it needs to know, did you really get the state refund, or did you actually pay. There may have been a change in your taxes since you used the program. See
