Confused - Spouse VAGI

I need some help! My spouse and I are filing separately this year; however, in previous years we've filed jointly. As I near the end of filing my taxes, a screen keeps popping up to make me write in my Spouse's VAGI? It's for the Low Income Credit Worksheet. My spouse hasn't filed and probably doesn't intend to until April. I do not want this to hold me up. What am I supposed to do? Do I pull a number from our 2021 return for his VAGI?? Please advise. Thanks!

You have to determine your spouse's Virginia adjusted gross income (VAGI) for the current year to see if you can qualify for the low income credit. You don't need to necessarily have your spouse's tax return completed, you may be able to determine their VAGI if you know their income. You should not just use last year's number though, as it probably is not the same as this year's.
