Contradiction when filing North Carolina taxes

When filing North Carolina taxes with an amount due, I'm prompted that the state government requires a debit date of 04/16/2024. However, on the next page, TurboTax gives the contradiction:

TurboTax will not accept 4/16/2024, even though on the previous page it clearly states that submission before 04/15/2024 is considered "on time".

First of all, this kind of software bug isn't acceptable in TurboTax. Secondly, how can I even be sure the payment is accepted with this problem?

It's not quite clear if you went ahead and processed your return and I understand your point. If you like, you can pay your balance due online with North Carolina (NC) Department of Revenue using the NC Payment Options page.
