I am trying to generate the California non resident tax forms. However, the form generated from Turbotax is very weird as attached. I removed my personal information on the generated form. I tried to reinstall Turbotax but it didn't help, so I think it is an issue with template Turbotax is using.
I checked the website and I am sure 540NR doesn't look like that in the first sections.
Wonder if Turbotax can fix this bug?
The form that TurboTax generates for the 540 NR is correct. The differences that you see above the filing status portion on the generated form and the form that you pulled from the CA FTB website is only the way that the information is displayed. Both sections contain the same information: Name(s), Address and Social Security Number(s).
