State of Delaware turbotax e-file return deemed ineligible because "return is a non-calendar year return".

There could be a few different reasons you're having an issue:

  • If you are trying to file your individual return:
    • If it's a part-year residency return, ensure you have the dates of residence entered
    • If it's a fiscal year individual report, DE no longer accepts fiscal periods for individual taxes, effective 2021
  • If you are trying to file a business return:
    • DE requires all business returns, partnership and corporations, to be mailed; e-file is not authorized

Delaware Individual forms were just released today (2/10/2022). This is not a Business Return. I already filed my personal Fed with TurboTax and received my refund. The Delaware software updated this morning. All information transferred from my fed return but I receive the "a non-calendar year return" error message. How do I fix this. Is there an error in the new Delaware forms? I want to e-file.
