Yes, you can correct the state and zip code by going back to where you entered the information about Discover Bank.

For example, if it is on your W-2 form:

  1. Open you return.
  2. Select Federal, then Wages & Income.
  3. To the right of Job (W-2), select Edit/ Add.
  4. Expand the section by selecting the down arrow to the right
  5. Select Edit below the W-2 information.
  6. Edit your W-2 information here, then select Continue.
  7. Select Continue to return to the Wages & Income screen.

If it is a different form, respond back with the name of the section or form and TurboTax can help you further.

This answer is not correct.

In my case Turbotax read my 1099 from Discover Bank and got the address, TIN, and all information correct, but chaged the State from DE (on the form) to UT.

There is no way to edit the State. Accessing the Edit of the Interest account does not display the Address or State.

We are stuck and cannot file due to this error. Any suggestions?
