Do I answer TurboTax (in Personal Information) that I recv'd income from other state than KS (my residency)?; .

I'm retired but sell some paintings & greeting cards. I rcv'd some commisioned payments from MN vendors for my Hobby Art, total from MN is less than $1200 for the year

    No, you will not have income from a state other than KS because your MN income ($1,200) is less than the MN income threshold required to file an MN nonresident state income tax return. Just report this MN sourced income on your KS resident state income tax return.

    According to the MN Department of Revenue, Part-year residents and nonresidents must use have income over $10,350 for 2016 in order to be required to file an MN state income tax return.
