Do I need to attach a copy of Form IT-QEE-SS01 to claim this credit on my state return?

No. You do not need to file Georgia Form IT-QEE-SS01 with your tax return. You do need to keep it and make it available upon request.

 

Georgia requires pre-approval to claim the education expense credit, you can't claim the credit with the form. You just don't have to include it with your tax return.
