Do I need to mail my state return even if I efiled?

We just e-filed our state return for North Carolina, and we see something that says we need to mail it as well. If e-filed do we need to mail our return too? Please advise.

Please double check what your message says. Sometimes, there are special forms that must be mailed in after e-filing. It is rare but they do exist. If you had unusual circumstances, you may need to mail in forms.

If you have a normal return, make sure you marked to e-file and not mail. Verify that your return was accepted by the state.
