Question

Do you need to file Idaho personal tax return if you are a sole proprietor of a LLC in Idaho

No physical assets nor contracts in Idaho itself. I do not live or physically present in Idaho. So reading through the income tax return documents seems like simply conducting transactions binds me to file a personal annual return with state of Idaho. I'm not sure if this includes transactions conducted by my LLC's bank account which resides in Idaho (address on the bank account, bank itself is national). Is this the case?

Your situation is not clear. What does "not  physically present in Idaho but conduct transactions there" mean? A single member LLC is a disregarded entity and you file Schedule C as a sole proprietor .  If you did not physically work in ID, you are not generally subject  to ID income tax.  Your bank being located in ID is not usually relevant.
