Does anyone know where to date & sign on the special format on Form 540 CA tax return?

If you are e-filing, you can electronically sign your return.   Are you trying to file your CA return by mail?

    Yes, I'm going to do it by mail. The previous or old format indicates where to date and sign before mailing. The 2024 Special Formatting on Form 540 CA tax return only shows the numbers on all pages but nothing else. Therefore, I don't know if the date and signature are needed or not. I see a lot of empty boxes without any wording throughout the pages except the Fed one, which I've already filed electronically.

    You must sign and date your state return. Since you don't see the signature section, you can sign and date at the bottom of the last page.

     Page 6 of 2024 Form 540 California Resident Income Tax Return shows the signature information is the last part of the return.
