I live in Kansas but teach for on-line universities in Arizona, Kentucky, and New Mexico, Do I need to file state taxes in those states?

No, you do not need to file state taxes in the other states, unless of course there is another reason for taxable income in the other state.

If your services are all performed in your home state, you do not have to file in the other states.  You should answer NO - to income earned in another state.
