Does NY require income tax filing when selling a home is only income

My wife and I moved from New York state to Pennsylvania and sold our former primary NY home in February 2021.  We have no wage or other non-wage income earned in NY state during 2021.  We don't qualify as a part-year resident of NY state.  When preparing my federal return, turbo tax appeared to indicate the home sale would trigger a NY state file but when preparing the NY return turbo tax isn't even asking me about such gain income.  Do I even need to file?

If you changed your domicile from NY to PA in February 2021, then for 2021 tax purposes you are a part-year resident of each of the two states.
