Double-taxed income in Virginia

As a DC resident who commutes to my job in Virginia, I qualify for a Virginia Special Nonresident Claim for Individual Income Tax Withheld via a Form 763-S.  But when I am filing my DC income tax, do I still enter my full income under the "Virginia Amount" column and the amount that Virginia initially held under "Tax Paid to Virginia on Double-Taxed Income" or do I enter $0 since I am filing the 763-S?

DC taxes all of your income since you are a resident and you should not get a credit since you are getting a full refund from VA. Mark that there is zero double taxed income.

To avoid that in the future, you will want to fill out the  VA-4 with your employer. See Which states have reciprocal agreements? - TurboTax Support
