Why do I have to pay to download the state tax form now. Before you got 1 state download free with the purchase of turbotax?

Are you using Deluxe? And did you buy it somewhere other than directly from TurboTax? If so, be aware that Deluxe comes in 2 versions--one with an included state program download, and one that is Federal-only with no state program.

If you DID buy the combo version that has both Federal and a state program download, but the state program is still asking you to pay anyway, we can tell you how to phone TurboTax Support.

If you bought the desktop version of Deluxe directly from TurboTax it includes 1 state program download at no extra charge. If you are using Online Deluxe, there is a separate fee for the state return. Did you buy the desktop product, but ended up using Online TurboTax by mistake? (yes, it happens)
