I moved in March and my employer never changed the state tax to the current state I moved in so my W2 showed VA the whole year. How do I do that?

You will have to file a Part Year Virginia return to report and pay the state tax for the time you were a resident.  You will probably get a big refund from the state, but you may need it to pay the Part Year income tax in your new state (because they did not have any withholding for you).
