Tax withheld for MD, Live in VA

You will simply need to file a MD non-resident return claiming $0 income but claiming the full amount withheld from your return since MD and VA have reciprocity.  This will give you a refund of the taxes withheld from MD.

Then you will file your VA return claiming all of your income.  Since your employer withheld for MD instead of VA, you will likely owe money.  To avoid this for next year, it would be a good idea to contact your employer and have them change which state they withhold taxes for.
