Federal Information Applied to 2 Places on State Form

I took an IRS distribution of X dollars in 2023. It is listed on my Federal 1040-SR form on line 4a with the taxable amount listed on 4B. On my Hawaii State form N15, it is showing up on line 15 and line 16. I believe line 16 should be zero since it was an IRA distribution and not from a Pension or Annuity.

Something is entered incorrectly somewhere but I am unable to find the error. Any ideas?

Per the instructions to Form N15, IRA distributions are not taxable to non-residents of Hawaii, but are taxable to residents. Are you sure you are filing as a non-resident?

I don't think you understand the question. The data was correctly listed on one line but was being duplicated on another line. I found the actual form in TurboTax and corrected it.
