Filed April 16, Taxes Paid April 19, Got Penalized $103
I filed my taxes on April 16, 2023, two days before this years deadline. Within a couple hours, I was notified both my Federal and State returns were accepted. Since I owed money to both Federal and State, Turbotax took my payment informant so the appropriate amount would be deducted from my account that day. However, money wasn't withdrawn from my account until April 19. Now I'm being penalized $103 for not paying my state tax on time. Why did it take three days for them to deduct my payment?
