I'm doing my sons taxes and he and his wife lived in both IN and MA in 2019. They currently live in MA. When doing their MA taxes on the page About Your State Wages it is showing their entire income for IN & MA. In completing the return it looks to tax them for the entire amount in MA and give them a credit for the state taxes they paid in IN. This cannot be correct.

On the About Your State Wages page if I select no for is this transferring state wages correct it only shows the MA on the next page but it still looks to be giving them a credit for the IN taxes paid giving the to big of a return.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
