I file 3 returns using Turbo Tax. Do I have to pay to file the Michigan state return 3 times or does one payment cover all 3?

If you are using online TurboTax, you pay separate fees for each federal return and each state return that you prepare and file.

If you are using desktop download software that included the software download for MI, then you can use that MI software for preparing multiple MI returns. Each MI return that you e-file will cost the $25 state e-file fee. You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print and mail the state return.
