Filing state by e-file after I have already filed my federal by e-file

My software keeps telling me my taxes have been filed. So I tried going through the last part of state taxes so the software automatically goes into the filing process and when I get past the page to select e-file it wants me to login to intuit to verify I purchased the software because I purchased online this year and when I login it brings me back only to want me to purchase the software again. I am getting frustrated at this point and dont know what to do. I thought I have just selected the "file my state taxes now" option in the past and it just worked.

Have you paid for the state efile? It is 24.99.

Try this, You might first need to update your program with the federal efile status. Go up to FILE - Electronic Filing - Check Electronic Filing Status. Then save your return, go to FILE - SAVE. Then close your return and reopen it and go though the File TAB again to file state.
