Dear TurboTax Support,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Aldo Altamirano Luis, and I recently filed my taxes through TurboTax, both federal and state. I have already received my federal refund, but I have not yet received my state refund for Michigan.

According to the information in TurboTax, my state return was accepted, and I was expecting the refund to be processed within 21 days. However, when I tried to check the status of my state refund using the link provided by the Michigan Department of Treasury, I encountered an error, which has prevented me from obtaining an update.

I believe the error may be related to access restrictions due to my status as a Mexican resident. I would like to know if there is an alternative way to track my state refund or if any additional steps are needed to resolve this issue.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Aldo Altamirano Luis

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.  Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.

    STATE RETURN

Make sure your state return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
