Form IT-20s invalid date of election as S corporation

I just printed out my 2021 IT-20S (Indiana S Corporation Income Tax Return) and found that the month field only contains the first digit of the month.  My date of election is 09/30/1997 but it shows as 0 30 1997

What number can I contact to report this error?  I tried standard support but I only ended up with a tax advisor... Need technical support / IT / SW Dev on this issue.

If you have submitted this return to the Indiana already, you will have to call them to report the error.  However, Indiana should have your history and will be able to detect that this is a mistake and be able to contact you if necessary or fill in the missing month information.  Since the day and year are correct, I feel you are okay.

Basically, if you have filed already, you need to contact the state.  If your return is still sitting in TurboTax, you should be able to go back into the document to re-enter the information.

I think I did not make it clear that in the form within turbotax, the month is correct "09".   On the printed return that will be sent to the state, it only shows a "0".   The software is not printing the month correctly.

@REXW if you efiled the return then the data that went to the state is what you entered so it should be fine.  If you have printed the return in order to mail it in then please go ahead and write a '9' on the form before you mail it.  I will send your problem over to investigations so that they can test it and repair it.  Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
