Question

From 1099g form 10a box is blank; however will not let me continue unless I put state in 10a; my state of Tennessee is not listed therefore I cannot put state in.

If you are having this error, please make sure that Box 10b is completely blank. If anything is being inputted into Box 10b, then the error message will trigger for 10a. 

 

To access your 1099-G, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Search for 1099-G with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
  3. Select the Jump to 1099-G link in the search results. 
  4. Edit your 1099-G.
  5. Remove the data in Box 10b.
