Have not received a confirmation that California accepted my return ...

I filed my taxes on 2/12 and received almost immediate rejections (separate) that both the IRS and California rejected my returns; I "typo'd" last year's adjusted gross income.

TurboTax helped me fix and retransmit, and I received an almost immediate confirmation that the IRS accepted my Federal return. After 4 days I have still not received anything from the State of California, and when I log in  to my return to check the status it still says "Pending."

Advice on what to do? How can I confirm that the CA transmission when through?

Thank you.

Wanted to post/share an update: I received an "ACTION NEEDED" (in all caps) text and email from Turbo Tax with instructions to check my federal deductions because intuit "detected a potential issue in my California return due to an error in our software."

I followed the instructions but nothing needed to be changed;  I didn't have to add my county as some who posted to this string apparently did. I clicked "check my return", and saw a note on screen saying it had not been transmitted due to a potential error with the software!  I resubmitted my return, and it's back in "pending" status.

I wish intuit/Turbo Tax had been more forthcoming with information instead of providing untrue information, blaming it on the state, and creating all this drama over misinformation. Thanks to those of you who joined the discussion and shared info, especially @mslatinlady!

California has a known issue accepting returns. Be patient.

I posted this question and received a response that CA is having known issues. However, I just called the Franchise Tax Board, and was told they are not experiencing issues, and that e-filings are and have been accepted for several days. They claim there are no issues.

If you (intuit) believes there are issues, maybe you could/should post an issues board--or advise people not to file until issues are resolved. Or, are you not providing info and updates because there are no issues and/or you don't want to put something erroneous in writing?

It is unnerving waiting for an "accept"--especially after my "reject" came almost immediately after filing (I transposed two numbers on my federal return).

Can you please share the real story on CA accepting returns--or not?!? I'm one step from calling the local consumer reporter for a straight answer.

I'm having the same issue regarding Cailf confirmation of my Turbo Tax e-filing.  I filed on 2/13/21 and have yet to receive a confirmation of receipt.   IRS responded within six hours.  How does one get ahold of a Turbo Tax representative?

Below is the Calif. FTB response to my query about getting a confirmation of a Turbo Tax e-filing.

    Kyle[1:44 PM]:

There is nothing on our end regarding being able to accept California tax returns. California tax returns have been able to be filed since the middle of January and I have seen that returns that have been filed and have completed processing for the 2020 tax year. I would advise contacting TurboTax for more information. I have heard this issue occurs when TurboTax is submitting the State and Federal tax returns at the same time, but you would need to contact that entity for more information.

Does anyone know how to contact a Turbo Tax rep.?

    **Update**

Some of you have noticed an issue where your return has been in a pending status multiple days.  This pending status means we noticed an issue that may have caused your return to be rejected and are doing an extra review to assess the reason it was flagged, resolve it for you, or identify what you need to do to ensure everything is accurate and your return is accepted.

If this applies to you, we will be sending you an email within 48 hours with confirmation that your return has been filed, or instructions for any additional steps that need to be taken to ensure an accurate return is filed, accepted, and you receive every dollar you deserve.  We apologize again this has caused a delay in receiving your refund.

Those of us that have our returns sitting at pending should have our e-File amount that was paid to Intuit refunded, Turbo Tax software checked our returns and found no errors, so we didn't omit anything or fill out wrong because the software would have told us,
