When you are entering your data into the State of Massachusetts, TurboTax will ask specific questions in regards to the items that are included/excluded from the State of Massachusetts income taxes.  Make sure that your W-2 data has been entered correctly in TurboTax before you start your state return.

To enter your W-2 in TurboTax:

    1. While in you Tax Home,
    2. Select Wages & Income,
    3. Select Review/Edit,
    4. Select Edit next to Job (W-2),
    5. Select Add a W-2.

To start your State of Massachusetts return follow these instructions:

    1. While in your Tax Home,
    2. Select State,
    3. Select Continue,
    4. Select Add a State.

This reply is incorrect for the Premier Version.  Correct programming should eliminate the amount from Line 3 of Form 1 (MASS Return).  Is there another work around??  Is it possible to fix via Forms?  The Federal part asks the right questions, but, it does not act on info.
