Question

Hello! I have two W-2 from my employer in NJ and my employer in CT. Do I need to fill out the nonresident wage allocation? I lived in NJ for entire time I worked there.

I lived and worked in NJ from Jan to March. I moved to CT in March and began working in April.

You should file as a part year resident in both states

Do the NJ return first you may need to allocate to make sure they are only taxing NJ income.

Then do CT and you may need to allocate to make sure you are only taxed on CT income.
